FAQs

The temperature sensor can measure temperatures ranging from 0° to 50°C (32° to 122°F).

The accuracy is ±0.21°C from 0° to 50°C (±0.38°F from 32° to 122°F).

The resolution is 0.024°C at 25°C (0.04°F at 77°F).

The temperature sensor has a drift of less than 0.1°C per year (0.18°F per year).

The relative humidity sensor can measure humidity from 1% to 90% RH (non-condensing).

The accuracy of the relative humidity sensor is:
±2% from 20% to 80% (maximum of ±4.5% including hysteresis at 25°C or 77°F)
Below 20% and above 80%, the accuracy is ±6% typical

The resolution of the relative humidity sensor is 0.01%.

The relative humidity sensor has a typical drift of less than 1% per year.

The CO2 sensor can measure concentrations from 0 to 5,000 ppm.

The accuracy of the CO2 sensor is ±50 ppm ±5% of reading at 25°C (77°F), less than 90% RH (non-condensing), and 1,013 mbar.

The warm-up time is 15 seconds.

The CO2 sensor can be calibrated automatically or manually to 400 ppm.

The non-linearity is less than 1% of full scale.

The pressure dependence is 0.13% of the reading per mm Hg, corrected via user input for elevation/altitude.

The operating pressure range is 950 to 1,050 mbar. Use altitude compensation for outside of this range.

The compensated pressure range is -305 to 5,486 m (-1,000 to 18,000 ft).

The sensing method is non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) absorption.

The typical response time to reach 90% in airflow of 1 m/s (2.2 mph) is 12 minutes.

The typical response time to reach 90% in airflow of 1 m/s (2.2 mph) is 1 minute.

The typical response time to reach 90% in airflow of 1 m/s (2.2 mph) is 1 minute.

The logger has a transmission range of approximately 30.5 meters (100 feet) line-of-sight.

The logger uses Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth Smart) for wireless data transmission.

The logger operates within a temperature range of 0° to 50°C (32° to 122°F) and 0 to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing).

The logging rate can be set from 1 second to 18 hours.

The logging modes available are fixed interval (normal, statistics) or burst.

The memory modes are wrap when full or stop when full.

The start modes are immediate, push button, date & time, or next interval.

The stop modes are when memory is full, push button, date & time, or after a set logging period.

The time accuracy is ±1 minute per month at 25°C (77°F).

The logger can be powered by 4 AA 1.5 Volt batteries (user replaceable) or a USB power source (5 V DC, 2 Watts).

The battery life is typically 6 months with logging and sampling intervals of 5 minutes or slower. Faster intervals, burst logging, and frequent app use can reduce battery life.

The logger has 128 KB of memory, which can store up to 84,650 measurements.

Data can be downloaded via USB 2.0 interface or Bluetooth Smart.

Downloading the full memory typically takes 20 seconds via USB and approximately 60 seconds via Bluetooth Smart. It may take longer if the device is farther from the logger.

The dimensions are 7.62 x 12.95 x 4.78 cm (3.0 x 5.1 x 1.88 inches), and it weighs 267.4 g (9.43 oz).

The logger has an IP50 environmental rating.
