RX3000 & U30 Networking, Firewall Problems
Network firewall difficulty:
The network interface controller (NIC) in the HOBO RX3000 and U30-ETH and WIF will attempt to make a connection to the numerical IP address 208.85.146.151:54328 every "Readout Interval." Your firewall must allow the logger to connect to this IP address, and must also allow the MAC address of the logger NIC.

Unmap DTF files in Hoboware
Often this issue manifests itself when both Hoboware and BoxCar software are installed on the same computer. To correct the issue, simply unmap DTF file in Hoboware. (If you use a weather station, energy logger, or U30, you might not want to do this as the DTF extension will open in BoxCar.)
In Hoboware go to: File / Preferences / File associations.
Click "UnMap" on the DTF file type line.
