These photos illustrate how to use the Waterproof Shuttle and a data logger together. We are showing a U22-001 logger for this demonstration, but the same steps apply to any USB-based optic logger. These steps are necessary for initial deployment of a logger and when communicating with the logger directly.

Data logger is shutting off prematurely
A discharge of static electricity may cause a running data logger to stop recording. Precautions should be taken to prevent this while handling the data logger.
Discharges may occur when there is a charge difference between the data logger and a cable being connected to it or when a person touches an exposed jack.
