If you are having trouble updating the firmware on your UX logger, try these steps:
- Remove the USB cable
- Remove batteries, then wait for one minute
- Verify HOBOware (3.7.16 or greater) is open, then plug the USB cable into the UX logger (with batteries out); you will see the word HOBO appear on the screen
- In HOBOware, go to Help > Update Device Firmware > select Update UX/MX Series Logger Firmware
If this process for updating firmware fails, contact Onset Tech Support, and let us know the serial number of the device, as well as the current firmware
