Required tools for weather station setup:
- 1/2” wrench or socket for tripod and u-bolts
- note that RX cellular antenna and channel kits have limited access when using a socket
- 5/16” wrench or socket for hose clamps
- Onset rain gauge & RS3-B solar radiation shield
- 7/16” wrench or socket for Davis wind sensor and the half/full cross-arms
- 7/16” wrench for Davis rain gauge
- note a socket can’t be used, not enough room
- 7/16” deep socket for leg u-bolts on 3-meter tripod
- Wire-cutters for guy wires and grounding wire
- Large tie-wraps for cable management
- Sledgehammer (8 lbs)
- Crescent/adjustable wrench
- Flat-head screwdriver
- Phillips-head screwdriver
- 10-mm wrench or socket (instructions call for these in some cases)
- 11-mm wrench or socket (instructions call for these in some cases)
