Infrared (IR) Base Station
The Infrared (IR) Base Station is required for communications between the HOBO Water Temp Pro and the PC. Simply place the logger 4 to 5 inches away from an IR Base Station (connected to a PC) within the 30° angle of view to obtain read out. The IR Base Station requires a 9-pin serial port in the PC. The IR Base Station is compatible with USB-to-serial converter. Note: The IR Base Station is not waterproof.
