'Twas The Night Before Monitoring

'Twas the night before monitoring, when all through the pond.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a sonde.

The loggers were hung by the water with care.
In hopes the optimal temperature was there.

Products were packed snug in their boxes’ warm bed.
While visions of data danced in their head.

With HOBO development and new products a wrap,
The staff felt a longing for a long winter’s nap.

When out past the lobby, arose such a clatter.
They sprang from their seats to see what was the matter.

Away to the windows they flew like a flash.
Security fobs in hand, to the parking lot they dashed.

The sun that the weather station’s solar panel cast off
Gave a glimmer of hope that no power was lost…

Then what to their wondering eyes did appear,
But real-time data, delivered via eight tiny rein-deer.

With Bluetooth offload, so lively and quick,
They knew in a moment, this technology was slick.

More rapid than shuttles, the measurements, they came,
And they whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

“Now Temperature! Now, Moisture! Now Water Quality!
On DO and Depth, and Conductivity!

To the top of the pier! To the logger in the hall!
Now calculate, calculate, calculate all!”

After storms that from wild hurricane fly,
MX1101s mitigated mold in the blink of an eye.

So back to their cubicles, the HOBO team, they flew.
Knowing the importance of all that they do.

Just then, in a twinkling, they heard on the roof
A remote sensor network, sending data as proof.

Up to the cloud, data flew seamlessly,
For analysis and further decision-mak-ing.

The data—how accurate! The offload, how easy!
Making the monitoring process ever so pleasing.

And they laughed when they saw it, in spite of themselves.
All the HOBO systems and solutions, perfected by elves.

And though the season of changes came with some work—
The emails, meetings, releases, and quirks…

They heard someone declare as a sleigh drifted from sight,

“Thank you all for your trust, HOBO’s future is bright!”
