The following updates to HOBOware software is available to customers of Onset Computer Corporation under the terms of the License Agreement contained in the installation programs. Users of HOBOware for Windows (2.0.x or 2.1.x) and HOBOware Pro for Windows (2.2.x, 2.3.x, or 2.4.x, and 2.5.0) can download and install HOBOware Pro 2.5.1 as an update to their existing installation.

Users of HOBOware for Mac (2.0.x or 2.1.x) and HOBOware Pro for Mac (2.2.x, 2.3.x, or 2.4.x) can download and install HOBOware Pro 2.5.0 as an update to their existing installation.

Added in HOBOware Pro 2.5.1 for Win:

• HOBOware Pro 2.5.0 provides support for the new HOBO U-14 Loggers, including the setting of Alarm ranges for both the temperature channel and the humidity channel.
• This release corrects an initialization bug in HOBOware Pro when launching the HOBO Waterproof Shuttle (U-DTW-1).

Bulk Export Tool

Onset's Bulk Export Tool makes it easy to export data from many logger data files at once. Just select the files to be exported, and this tool will automatically export their data to text files that can be used by other programs such as Excel. This tool is a free add-on for HOBOware Pro, and can export data from all loggers compatible with HOBOware Pro, including all HOBO U-Series loggers, HOBO Weather Stations, HOBO Energy Logger Pro, and HOBO U30 Remote Monitoring Systems. Saves time converting multiple HOBO data files to text files that can be used by other programs. Uses familar Windows (or Mac OSx) file selection tools. Supports files from all loggers supported by HOBOware (all U-Series, H21, and H22 loggers)

To install the Bulk Export Tool, download and run the appropriate installer:
BulkExportTool_Setup.exe (Windows)
BulkExportTool.dmg (Mac)

On OSx, double-clicking the .dmg file will open the disk image in finder. Double-click BulkExportTool.pkg to install the Bulk Export Tool.

The Alarm and Readout Tool

The Alarm and Readout Tool (formerly known as Real-Time Alarm Software) is a plug-in tool that works in conjunction with HOBOware Pro to read data from HOBO® data loggers and provides real-time alarm notification when conditions exceed user-defined limits. This software also allows you to schedule logger readouts with options to store the data locally or to forward it by e-mail or FTP. Onset is continuing to develop user-friendly Data Assistants to make analysis of your data even easier. Many of these Data Assistants are included with standard releases of HOBOware Pro. In addition, HOBOware has a growing list of Data Assistants available for purchase separately, such as Growing Degree Days and Grains Per Pound.

	Growing Degree Days version 1.2.0 Growing Degree Days is a measurement of growth potential given historical temperature data. It can be a measure of crop or pest maturity, give the input parameters.
	Grains Per Pound version 1.2.0 Also known as Humidity Ratio or Mixing Ratio, it is a measure of the mass in grains of H2O in otherwise dry air.

1. the file to upgrade for using the new HOBO Weather Station, HOBO Water Temp Pro, and HOBO LCD loggers.
2. low battery warning for the HOBO Shuttle and upgrade for PCs with power saving function. Download the software upgrade to assure successful logger launch. Without the upgrade, the PC's power-saving mode can signal the unit to discontinue logging immediately after launch resulting in loss of data.
3. corrects a data export problem in which BoxCar Pro 4.2.10 displays exported data without a fractional part, ie., digits to the right of the decimal point were not displayed.

1. BoxCar Pro for MacOS is an unreleased application that has been made available on the internet in its current, untested form at the request of customers who wish to use Onset's newest logger models on their MacOS computers.
