Software Engineer/C Sharp Programmer

Reports to: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

The Hardware Engineering Department strives to deliver high quality products that support the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

This position is tasked with providing software tools to test hardware developed by Onset. In addition, support new product development and existing products by maintaining current test strategies and developing new test strategies.

Primary job responsibilities:

• Develop GUI programs designed to efficiently test data loggers, controllers and related equipment
• Support manufacturing and development with test tools as required
• Design and maintain and SQL database for all test data
• As part of a team, design digital and analog circuits for new data loggers, controllers and related equipment

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Expert at developing software in C sharp
• Ability to develop firmware in assembly language and C (PIC processor family a plus)
• Understand and lead company efforts in Design for Testability (DFT) and BIST.
• Demonstrated successful team leader
• BSEE or advanced degree and qualified experience
• Experience supporting manufacturing personnel
• Successful experience with low cost design and production desirable
