Monitoring Watersheds to Create Sustainable Ecosystems & Forecast Environmental Changes
The systems ecologist and executive director of the nonprofit Yellowstone Ecological Research Center (YERC) is using Onset’s award-winning HOBO MX2001 Water Level Data Logger in the RiverNET monitoring project at the Upper Yellowstone watershed area. He selected the Bluetooth-enabled HOBO MX2001 for its ease-to-use and the ability to dowloand data with the HOBOconnect app when within 100 feet of the loggers. More than two dozen rugged HOBO MX2001 loggers have been deployed in and around Mill Creek, the watershed’s largest tributary of the Yellowstone River.
