Attached is a wiring diagram that shows how to monitor Wattnode kWh transducers with the P3 option, either with multiple HOBO UX90-001 loggers or with the HOBO UX120-017 four-channel pulse logger.

The P3 option provides the ability to monitor three single-phase circuits with one Wattnode transducer. The transducer will provide three pulse outputs that represent the energy used in each circuit. These can be logged by either three UX90-001 data loggers or one UX120-017 four-channel data logger.

Other options for logging these devices include the HOBO RX3000 station, which provides data via the web using our HOBOlink web product. An additional hardware interface is required when using the RX3000, specifically a Pulse Input Adapter for each pulse output.

Wattnodes with the P3 option are not currenty available from Onset, but can be purchased from the manufacturer, Continental Controls, here: https://ctlsys.com/wattnode_pulse_-_option_p3_-_three_pulse_outputs/

Warning: Installing transducers in an energized electrical enclosure or on any energized conductor can result in severe injury or death. These transducers are for installation by qualified personnel only. To avoid electrical shock, do not perform any installation or servicing of these transducers unless you are qualified to do so. Disconnect and lock-out all power sources during installation and servicing. Please read transducer user manuals for instructions and use.
