COVID-19, effective 03/25/2021
Onset continues to monitor the latest coronavirus developments and guidance from local authorities, the Centers for Disease Control, and the World Health Organization. The health and well-being of our customers, suppliers, employees, and the surrounding community is of the utmost importance to us, so we are taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe.
At this time, Onset’s ability to build our products and ship them to our customers as scheduled has not been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. We are taking proactive measures to work with our suppliers to identify and mitigate any potential supply chain disruptions and will continue to provide updates in the future, as needed.
Wiring Diagram - Connecting a Thermocouple to a ZW node
In order to connect a thermocouple to a ZW, you will need to use a third-party thermocouple transmitter, like the Omega TX91A series, which is available directly from Omega, click here.
In addition you will need the AC-SENS-1 power supply to provide 12VDC to the transmitter. Also needed is the CABLE-4-20MA.
The 4-20mA input to the ZW will need to be scaled in HOBOnode Manager to represent the 4-20mA as temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The appropriate scaling values will be based on the model transmitter you purchase from Omega and the type of thermocouple being used.
Please see the attached drawing for more wiring details.
