UX Logger Firmware Update Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble updating the firmware on your UX logger, try these steps:  

  1. Remove the USB cable
  2. Remove batteries, then wait for one minute 
  3. Verify HOBOware (3.7.16 or greater) is open, then plug the USB cable into the UX logger (with batteries out); you will see the word HOBO appear on the screen
  4. In HOBOware, go to Help > Update Device Firmware > select Update UX/MX Series Logger Firmware

If this process for updating firmware fails, contact Onset Tech Support, and let us know the serial number of the device, as well as the current firmware
