latitude and longitude in datastream

How do I get my smart phone's position (lat/lon) to appear in my datafiles when I am uploading the MX 5000 tidbit data?

Hi JP. The lat and Lon appear in the data file that you directly offload from the logger. This lat and lon are from your mobile device when you configured the logger. The lat and lon do not transmit through the MX5000.

Thanks for your response. What do you mean by the "lat and lon appear in the data file that you directly offload from the logger"? In your last sentence, you say that "lat and lon do not transmit through the MX5000". These seem to be contradictory statements?

Sorry about that, hopefully i can clear that up. There are 2 ways to get your data from the MX loggers. The most common is to offload directly to your mobile device and this is where the location info is. But if you are using the MX gateway to transmit the logger data to the cloud, the location info does not go with it.
