Computer not recognizing device

Good morning to all. I recently failed to connect the U12-012 Temp/RH/Light/External Data Logger to my PC, whereas Hobo ProV2 perfectly connected. Messages like 'No device selected/No device connected' appear, although the computer makes a sound, indicating that there is something in the USB port. I also tried to push the black button on the front-left of the datalogger case while the device is connected to the PC but nothing changed. The Hoboware Pro 3.7.23 is installed on my computer. The internal battery of the device is new. Thanks in advance for your possible help. ARFY
