A researcher at Duke University’s River Center is studying how urban development in the Piedmont Triangle area of North Carolina is affecting stream flow and stream water quality. He’s managed to overcome rather challenging conditions by utilizing some innovative techniques to successfully deploy U24 loggers at 25 sites throughout the study area.
