The MX2001 water level sensor is used with the HOBO Bluetooth water level data logger (MX2001), the HOBO MicroRX Water Level Stations (RX2103 and RX2104), or the HOBO RX3000 Remote Monitoring Station for accurate water pressure, temperature, and water level measurements. These sensors are available in four depth ranges, in stainless steel or titanium (recommended for use in saltwater).
The HOBO® MX2001 is the industry’s first water level data logger designed for convenient wireless setup and download from mobile devices via Bluetooth Low Energy. The logger dramatically simplifies and lowers the cost of field data collection by providing wireless access to high-accuracy water level and temperature measurements right from a mobile phone or tablet. The MX2001 logger consists of a top-end unit and a water level sensor which are sold as a set, plus a direct read cable to connect them. Cables can be ordered in lengths from 0.2 to 500m for deployment in a wide range of wells.
The RX3000 Water Level Sensor Module (RXMOD-W1) offers users the ability to monitor water level, pressure, and temperature, as well as barometric pressure, with the HOBO RX3000 Remote Monitoring Station. It is configured through HOBOlink, Onset’s cloud-based software. For water level applications, a HOBO RX3000 station, water level sensor cable (CABLE-RWLMOD-XXX), and water level sensor (MX2001-0X-S or MX2001-0X-Ti-S) are required.
