    RX2100

    The compact and rugged HOBO MicroRX Station is an easy-to-deploy, low-cost cellular solution for long-term, reliable field monitoring. Two power source options are available: a solar panel for extended deployments, and user-replaceable batteries for flexible mounting in covered or protected locations. The station includes inputs for up to five of Onset’s research-grade plug-and-play sensors, and can be ordered with an additional water level sensor input with integrated flow conversion. Configurable station-side alarms trigger immediate notifications of critical conditions, and Onset’s cloud-based HOBOlink platform makes it easy to view, access, and share data.

    RX3000

    The HOBO RX3000, Onset’s most flexible remote data logging station, provides instant access to site-specific environmental data anywhere, anytime via the internet. The station combines the versatility and sensor quality of more expensive systems, an onboard LCD display, and the convenience of plug-and-play operation.The RX3000 is a configurable system (see "Configure System" tab below).

    The RX3000 station is the basic component of the cost-effective and scalable HOBOnet Field Monitoring System for crop management, environmental research, and greenhouse operations.

    H21-USB

    Rugged and compact, the redesigned HOBO USB Micro Station is a weatherproof data logger for multi-channel monitoring of microclimates. Starting at just $220, this battery-powered station accepts up to five plug-and-play Smart Sensors and has a hinged door to make sensor installation simple and quick. The Micro Station is equipped with a built-in USB port for fast, efficient data readout to a computer, and integrated mounting tabs for easy installation.

    Looking for a cellular option? The MicroRX Station offers integrated solar panel or battery-power for affordable remote data offload via 4G cellular.

    Interested in water level and flow monitoring? The MicroRX Water Level Station combines the MicroRX Station with Onset’s own water level sensor and pre-programmed water flow formulas.

    U30-NRC

    This rugged weather station is Onset’s most durable outdoor environmental monitoring solution. Users can easily configure the HOBO U30-NRC Weather Station to fit their application needs. Use up to 15 channels to collect environmental data and then upload to HOBOware® software for analysis. HOBOware Pro is recommended for extended features, see the comparison here. The U30-NRC has four configurable systems, that can be configured below, that consist of the following part numbers: U30-NRC-000-05-S100-000, U30-NRC-000-10-S100-000, U30-NRC-VIA-05-S100-000, and U30-NRC-VIA-10-S100-000.

    RXW-GPx-xxx

    The HOBOnet Multi-Depth Soil Moisture Sensor is a wireless sensor that works with the HOBOnet system to measure soil moisture and soil temperature at multiple depths with a single probe, for fast and easy installation. This durable sensor is available in three probe lengths for measurements from 45 cm (18 in) to 90 cm (35 in) deep.

    Featuring GroPoint’s TDT5 technology with patented antenna design, these sensors measure soil moisture along the entire length of each probe segment, resulting in the largest volume of influence per measurement section. A high frequency of pulses per measurement provides precise and consistent soil moisture data.

    We recommend using the optional pilot rod and slide hammer for quick and easy installation. Onset offers two options for the pilot rod, the PILOT-ROD4 (28”) for use with the three- and four-segment sensors (RXW-GP3 and RXW-GP4), and the PILOT-ROD6 (40”) for use with the six-segment sensor (RXW-GP6).

    The HOBOnet T11 is a wireless sensor that works with the HOBOnet system to not only measure soil moisture (volumetric water content) with better accuracy and precision, but also provide soil temperature measurements. Designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, these durable sensors last up to 10 years, so you can leave them in the field for extended periods of time. Sharpened stainless-steel probes make installation easy, even in hard soil, and a large volume of influence provides better results and a more accurate view of soil moisture. The HOBOnet T11 is backed by over 20 years of soil-moisture research and features a trademark 70MHz frequency capacitance technology, minimizing salinity and textural effects.

    The HOBOnet system is a cost-effective and scalable wireless sensor network for web-enabled monitoring of field conditions for applications such as crop management, research, and greenhouse operations.     We suggest using the Verification Clip (see Compatible Items, below). The Verification Clip provides a convenient way to confirm the operation and soil moisture accuracy of HOBOnet T11 and T12 sensors. Attaching this clip to a sensor provides a known soil moisture level for verifying measurement accuracy, without having to test the sensor in actual soils, which normally requires weighing soil samples and drying them in an oven.

    The HOBOnet T21 is a wireless sensor that works with the HOBOnet system to measure both soil temperature and soil water potential, a more accurate way to measure how much water is available to plants. The HOBOnet T21 Sensor is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, and it does not require calibration for different soil types or salinity. The HOBOnet T21 is calibrated in a chamber system that allows the T21 set calibration points from -10KPa to -80KPa. With its durable epoxy coating, you can be confident these sensors can be deployed in the ground for long periods, while providing data you can trust.
