Marketing Communications Manager

Summary

  • Leads creative content development to maximize Onset’s marketing effectiveness for key products and market segments
  • Defines, develops, and executes Onset’s marketing programs through digital and print advertising, e-mail marketing, nurturing campaigns, trade shows, webinars, and other activities as required 
  • Leads new product launch and customer-development marketing activities in collaboration with Product Marketing and Market Segment Managers
  • Reports to the Vice President of Marketing
  • Supervises and directs the workflow of Marketing Specialists and Graphic Design

Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements high-performing demand generation and prospect-nurturing programs to build a pipeline of qualified, engaged prospects for Onset data loggers.
  • Leads, develops, and drives Onset’s digital, print, and e-mail advertising strategy
  • Develops and provides direction in the creation of creative marketing content in collaboration with Product Marketing, Graphic Designer, and Marketing Management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 5+ years of experience in developing creative content and strategy for high-performing demand generation programs (program creation, execution, and measurement)
  • Experience in marketing to B2B targets through a range of activities including digital and print advertising, e-mail, webinars, and trade shows
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, including Pardot, and CRM systems, including Salesforce.com
  • Exceptional written and content development skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage activities, make effective recommendations, make independent decisions using sound judgment, and communicate information in a clear, understandable, and informative manner

Minimum Education and Work Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Business a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing Communications
  • Experience supervising a Marketing Communications team preferred
