Attached is a wiring diagram that shows how to use CTs and PTs with the HOBO H22-001 Energy Logger via the S-FS-TRMSA Module. The image shows a 480 V, 3-phase application. The configuration would be similar for single- or split-phase applications.

Note: The resultant data will be AC voltage and current. HOBOware does not offer a way to combine these measurements to get kW. The data would have to be exported to Excel to perform any addtional calculations.

Warning: Installing transducers in an energized electrical enclosure or on any energized conductor can result in severe injury or death. These transducers are for installation by qualified personnel only. To avoid electrical shock, do not perform any installation or servicing of these transducers unless you are qualified to do so. Disconnect and lock-out all power sources during installation and servicing. Please read transducer user manuals for instructions and use.
