To move or copy your HOBO ZW Datanode database from one computer to another, you will need to copy a folder called "COSMOS" and all of its contents to a specifc location on the new computer. Copy this folder to a temporary storage device like an external hard disk or USB stick. (Keep in mind that this folder and its contents may be very large depending on the size of your HOBOnode network and how long it has been in service.) Then, attach this temporary storage device to the new computer and copy the folder and all its contents to the precise location, which is based on your computer operating system. (See table below.) Once connected, any new data that was recorded to the ZW-RCVR while the computer was offline will backfill into the database on the new computer, oldest data to newest. This may take a while (up to several hours), based on how long the computer was down and the size of your network.
