Enabling Secure Mode in HOBOWare

Enabling Secure Mode

• Open HOBOWare
• Click on FILE
• Click on PREFERENCES > GENERAL.
• Select ENABLE SECURE MODE.

When Secure mode is enabled, a padlock icon appears in the lower right corner of the main HOBOware Pro window.  Every time you open a secure file – even when you are not in Secure mode – HOBOware Pro or HOBOware Lite verifies the digital signature to ensure that the data in the file exactly matches what was read out from the logger. The padlock icon appears in the legend next to the series that were verified as original data.
