The data logger measures analog voltages with a 12-bit A/D converter; therefore, any sensor's input will have not more than its range divided by 4096 values. For linear inputs, like a raw voltage input, the value for each step is equal. For nonlinear inputs, like temperature, the values of the steps are not equal.
