What’s the difference in Onset's radiation shield offerings? (RS1, RS3 and M-RSA)

The RS1 and M-RSA are best for applications where a LOGGER needs to be deployed inside the radiation shield. EX. U23-001 in direct sunlight

The RS3 shield is designed for use with external temperature and temperature/RH sensors from HOBO loggers and stations. EX. S-THB-M002 with a U30 logger.

The M-RSA is a pre-assembled version of the RS1 to help expedite the set up and configuration of your outdoor experiment. The RS1 is compatible with masts up to 3.8 cm (1.5”), while the M-RSA can accommodate masts up to 4.1 cm (1.63”). Both the M-RSA and RS1 have removable bottom plates for access to the logger.
