My U24, U22 or u20 logger is showing a bad battery is the status menu?

Basically we found that the alignment of the logger in the coupler can cause this issue. In some cases, 1 degree out of alignment will cause a bad battery indication. You also might see other odd information in the status or launch menu like memory full and badd sensor values

What’s happening is some information is getting lost or dropping while the logger is trying to tell Hoboware about its battery and other functions. If you were to launch the logger in this condition, the header may become corrupt and you could see the “battery reset error.”

Try twisting the logger in either direction to establish stable communications. Start small, 1 or 2 degree's will do it.

It also could be a bad battery however if your logger is relatively new, most likely not.
