The measuring bucket may bounce a little after the logger records an opening of a closed circuit. This may create a false event. To ensure that you do not record false data, we highly suggest that you use the Lockout after event function located in the Launch screen under Advanced Options. We recommend setting the lockout to one second to eliminate switch bounce. The lockout informs the logger to ignore events for a programmable period of time after an event is recorded. The lockout can be set anywhere from one second to nine hours. Note: setting the lockout also limits the maximum rate at which events can be recorded.
