How many data loggers can be monitored at one time?

The number of data loggers depends on the polling rate needed and the communications links to the data loggers. Serial data loggers and data loggers connected through an Ethernet network take longer to communicate, so the number of these data loggers that can be monitored at a given polling rate is less than with direct-connected USB data loggers. At a 1-minute polling rate, the software can typically monitor up to 16 USB or Serial data loggers with up to 15 sensors each. At a 4-minute polling rate, 64 data loggers can typically be monitored. The Keyspan server software currently allows up to 12 remote USB devices to be connected through an Ethernet network.
