Battery Installation: H01, H6, H8, H12, H08-07-IS*, H12-002-IS*

To change the battery, open the case as shown in Diagram A. Lift the circuit board and remove the battery by carefully pushing it out with a cotton swab with the cotton removed or other small, blunt instrument. Be sure to install the battery with the printed side away from the HOBO's circuit board as shown. The logger's LED(s) will blink several times after the battery has been installed.

*Note: The H08-007-IS and the H12-002-IS data loggers must be removed from the hazardous location to check battery level, change battery, and relaunch. In order to maintain the Intrinsically Safe rating your data logger must use a Renata CR2032 (3.0v 225mAH) battery, Onset part number HRB-TEMP.
