According to climate scientist Brian Von Herzen, corals are in danger of becoming "a geologic relic" in a remarkably short time. Only the coral reefs that are able to keep cool in the coming decades will survive this century, he says. Brian founded The Climate Foundation and is working on an emergency life support system for coral reefs.
