Wind Data Loggers

Onset manufactures several data loggers capable of collecting wind data. A complete wind-monitoring system consists of a data logger connected to a sensor (wind gauge, wind vane, wind sensor, etc.). Because they collect data unattended for up to a year at a time, Onset's wind data loggers and gauges are rugged, waterproof, and able to withstand extreme environmental conditions, year-round.

Wind data loggers are usually part of a broader weather station system, and Onset's suite of loggers allows you to choose exactly the amount of logging capacity you need, from just a few sensor input channels to over a dozen. There are also several options for retrieving your data - over the internet via cellular networks, WiFi or Ethernet, or manually via your computer's USB port.

These wind sensors are recommended for use with Onset data loggers, and are appropriate for weather stations, site assessment, wind turbine siting, scientific investigations and green building and renewable energy systems monitoring.
