Onset's light sensors and data loggers are appropriate for green building and renewable energy systems siting and monitoring, energy audits, agriculture, and research-grade applications.

Onset's light sensors and data loggers are available in several configurations. Some light intensity data loggers have internal sensors, while others require that an external sensor be plugged into the data logger unit. Weather stations and micro stations will store data in harsh, wet and windy outdoor conditions, and some self-contained light intensity loggers are ideal for indoor office environments.

Data retrieval options vary as well, ranging from manual data offload using handheld shuttle devices or laptop computers, or remote data access through the Internet via Wi-Fi, cellular, or Ethernet networks.
