An intrinsically safe two-channel data logger with internal temperature and relative humidity (RH) sensors, this model has a rugged housing designed for years of reliable use in outdoor applications. This model offers high accuracy, 8- or 12-bit resolution settings, and 64K of memory for long-term deployments. The model's RH sensor is designed for use in outdoor environments with cyclical high- and low-humidity levels This model is rated intrinsically safe (US standards): IS, Class I, II, Division 1, Groups A-G, Temperature Code T4 (≥135°C); NI, Class I, Division 2, Groups A-D, Temperature Code T4 (≥135°C); S, Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G as specified in the US Electric Code and approved by Factory Mutual.

Operating range (logger): -30°C to +50°C (-22°F to +122°F), 0 - 100% RH, HOBO Pro RH/Temp IS should be mounted so that water does not impact or collect in the RH sensor.
RH Sensor operating environment: 0°C to +50°C (+32°F to +122°F) in intermittent condensing environments up to +30°C; and above +30°C in non-condensing environments.
Sensor requires protection from rain, splashing, mist, dust, and airborne chemicals such as salt and ammonia.
Time accuracy: approx. ±1 minute per week (±100 ppm at +20°C or +68°F), full dependence shown in manual.
Measurement capacity: 65,291 standard-resolution (8-bit) measurements, 32,645 high-resolution (12-bit) measurements or 21,763 measurements if one channel uses standard-resolution and the other channel uses high-resolution. RH measurements use standard resolution only. All measurements are stored in nonvolatile memory, with seven levels of data archiving
