Overview

Monitors when doors are open/closed using an internal magnetic reed switch and external magnet. External input cable included to monitor contact closures of remote devices or presence of positive DC voltage.

FAQs

When I go into the launch screen the description field is full of DDDDDDs. [show/hide]

If a logger is disconnected immediately after selecting launch (or start), the information that is stored on the logger's
header may become corrupted. To correct the problem, simply relaunch the logger. Allow the launch parameters to be sent to the
logger before disconnecting the logger from the interface cable. Allow the logger to record a few measurements. Download the information from the logger to see if the DDDDDDs
in the Description field were overwritten. If the DDDDDs remain in the Description field, the logger will need to be returned to the place of purchase for repair.

What is the H06-001-02 State logger used for? How do you hook it up? [show/hide]

The HOBO State logger is used to monitor open/closed contact closures. A CABLE-2.5-STEREO cable is included with the state logger and can be used to connect to a passive contact closure or dry relay switch. The logger also has an internal reed switch that (when used with the included security magnets) can log the open and closing of doors, drawers, etc.
What is the difference between the HOBO Event logger and the HOBO State logger? [show/hide]

The HOBO Event logger records the opening of the contacts only. It does not record the closing. The HOBO State logger records changes in the state - both the opening and closing of the switch, (door open/close, light on/off, etc).
