Rainfall Data Loggers & Sensors
The new HOBO Weather Station Starter Kit combines our most rugged data logging weather station with out-of-the-box convenience.
The U30/NRC accepts up to 10 plug-and-play Smart Sensors. Just plug in your sensor and it’s automatically recognized – no programming, wiring or calibration necessary. With this kit you can measure temperature, relative humidity, wind speed/direction. Simply select the HOBO Weather Station starter system and your choice of either a 2-Meter or 3-Meter Tripod Kit and go!
Software ordered separately. Compatible with HOBOware and HOBOware Pro software for logger setup, graphing and analysis.$1399
The Data Logging Rain Gauge is a battery-powered rainfall data collection and recording system which includes a HOBO® Pendant Event data logger integrated into a tipping-bucket rain gauge. This model automatically records up to 3200 mm of rainfall data that can be used to determine rainfall rates, times and duration. Also records temperature when used with an optional solar radiation shield (RS1 Solar Radiation Shield, or M-RSA). A base station or shuttle is required.$420
Accurately measure rainfall with the HOBO Pendant Event Data Logger. Determine rainfall rates, times, and duration after deployment with most standard tipping-bucket rain gauges. Efficiently gather and store momentary contact events and temperature data. Additionally, gain access to detailed event data. Event data is only stored when it happens for better memory usage. Use a solar radiation shield for accurate temperature measurement in sunlight applications. See RS1 Solar Radiation Shield (assembly required) and M-RSA (pre-assembled) Solar Radiation Shield.$105
This Rain Gauge Smart Sensor measures rainfall with intensity up to five inches per hour with a resolution of 0.01 inch, and 1% accuracy for rainfall rates up to 1"/hour. The tipping bucket mechanism is mounted on a stainless steel shaft with brass bearings. This model includes a 2m cable.$410
This Rain Gauge Smart Sensor measures rainfall with a resolution of .2 mm, and 1% accuracy for rainfall rates up to 12.7 cm. The tipping bucket mechanism is mounted on a stainless steel shaft with brass bearings. This model includes a 2m cable.$410
Record up to 160 in. of rainfall at rates up to 12.7 cm (5 in.) per hour. The Data Logging Rain Gauge system is battery powered and includes a HOBO® Pendant Event data logger with a tipping-bucket rain gauge. Easily collect rainfall, time, and duration data, as well as temperature when used with an optional solar radiation shield (RS1 Solar Radiation Shield, or M-RSA). Base station or shuttle is required.$420
Accurately monitor outdoor weather conditions with the HOBO Micro Station. This rugged data logger starts at $231 and is popular because of its compact size. It accepts up to four plug-and-play smart sensors, and has over 500k of nonvolatile flash data storage. The Micro Station can run up to 1 year on four standard AA batteries.$231
