You need to install the software before connecting the USB-to-Serial Adapter in order to use the adapter with our products. If you installed the adapter first, uninstall the USB adapter (and software), reboot the computer and perform a clean install of the software. Once the software is installed, connect the adapter. After the adapter is detected, it should blink. Click on Start/Programs/Keyspan Serial Assistant/Keyspan Serial Assistant and notice which COM port is assigned to the adapter. Set the BoxCar

Onset has not tested, nor does Onset support the USB Serial Adapter with non-Onset devices. However the Onset USB Serial Adapter is the Keyspan High Speed USB Serial Adapter (part # USA-19HS), and Keyspan supports many devices with this adapter. Assuming the Keyspan adapter is set up properly, HOBOware for Mac may still experience problems when using a Keyspan USB Serial Adapter that is attached to a USB hub.
