    Using Underwater Epoxy to Install Temperature Sensors in Mountain Streams

    Monitoring stream temperature is critical to understanding aquatic ecosystems. Temperature monitoring in mountain streams, however, has been limited to summer months, when streams are accessible and snowmelt floods have abated. This webinar describes how a team from the Rocky Mountain Research Station in Boise, Idaho developed a protocol for using an underwater epoxy to adhere HOBO® TidbiT v2 temperature data loggers securely to large rocks in mountain streams for long-term, durable deployment.
