Hallmark protects its Valentines with a HOBO Weather Station
Environmental Administrator Kate Grover explains that maintaining proper humidity and temperature in Hallmark Cards Inc.'s Topeka, Kansas facility is a full-time job. She uses an Onset HOBO Weather Station on the roof of the five-acre factory to help understand indoor environmental conditions. This, in turn, helps keep stationery products from getting damp, curled up, or otherwise destroyed by the ravages of the Midwestern climate. Kate also explains how Onset Data Loggers helped her uncover previously unknown challenges when she investigated installing green-roof technology.
