Paul will also demonstrate tools and techniques for measuring and monitoring, including data loggers, flow meters, CO2 monitors, and others.

- Start to develop appropriate performance benchmarks for projects, including energy and water usage, temperature, relative humidity, moisture content of materials, and carbon dioxide levels
- Incorporate strategies and methods for monitoring whether performance benchmarks are being met
- Have a broad overview of the range of devices available for monitoring various residential building performance criteria
- Start to create a list of tools and resources that will foster ongoing development of performance monitoring capabilities
